About The Position

Dead River is hiring seasonal Delivery Drivers for a heating season that runs approximately October through April. This is presented as a counter-seasonal opportunity, with openings at several locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York. Drivers are home every night and are paid weekly, with competitive pay of $23.26 to $34.88 per hour depending on experience, on-call pay, and eligibility for a bonus of up to $3,000. Applicants may apply year-round.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a driver.
• A good driving record and a CDL.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Confidence making deliveries in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays during the heating season.
• A focus on safety.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat endorsement; it is preferred but not required, and the company will help the driver obtain one.
