Ian's Pizza State - Delivery Driver
About The Position
Ian's Pizza is seeking part-time and full-time Delivery Drivers to deliver legendary NY-style pies in Madison, WI. This role involves preparing and packing orders, loading them into your car, and delivering them. Additionally, drivers will handle phone and online orders, enter them into the system, and assist with restaurant tasks such as cleaning, dishes, stocking, and checklists when not on the road. The restaurant is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where team support and fun are emphasized. Opportunities for growth and promotion are available with ongoing training.
Requirements
- Must pass the driver eligibility check.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Must have car insurance.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
- Able to carry up to 50lbs up and down stairs.
- Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
- Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other restaurant equipment.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
- Comfortable delivering in variable weather conditions.
- Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.
- Must be 18+ years old to apply.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).
- Able to read, write, and speak English comfortably with team and customers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a huge plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack orders, including finishing, cutting pies, and mixing salads.
- Load orders into your car for delivery.
- Deliver orders to customers.
- Take phone and online orders and enter them into the system.
- Assist with cleaning, dishes, checklists, and stocking in the restaurant.
- Hustle on shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
