About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car within a designated area and to customers’ doors. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers may also perform general store-team duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory and paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

The job involves driving and delivering pizzas, flyers, and door hangers; navigating to addresses and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings; and carrying products during deliveries. Work may expose team members to adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to carry products while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including lifting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and navigating stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate maps, addresses, private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites, including stairs.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage and work areas.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
