About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring qualified drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for growth, including into management. Drivers receive and process telephone orders, make deliveries within a designated area, and perform general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The position requires communicating with customers and coworkers, processing orders in person and by phone, handling payments, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Handle monetary transactions and make correct change.
