About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers and support general store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential paths to management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors, deliver flyers and door hangers, and may make several deliveries per shift. Team members also perform store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves driving and walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, sometimes navigating adverse weather, multi-story buildings, and five or more flights of stairs. Store conditions may include temperature extremes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, bending, reaching, pushing or pulling trays, and frequent hand use.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform physical duties that include standing, walking, lifting and carrying, reaching, bending, and climbing stairs as needed.
Far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps or other navigation skills, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
