About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders via phone. It also includes inventory management, cleaning, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires strong communication and essential skills for order processing and monetary transactions. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and requires the ability to work with hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing abilities include talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching. Hand tasks require continuous use of hands, including frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough, and pinching for box assembly. Tools and equipment used include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating adverse terrain such as multistory buildings and private homes while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, walking to and from the customer's location, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. The driver will be exposed to varying weather conditions during deliveries.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
