About The Position

This role involves delivering products to customers, distributing flyers and door hangers, and potentially performing other duties outlined in the CSR (Customer Service Representative) description. The position requires navigational skills, the ability to handle various terrains, and adherence to company standards for driving and customer interaction. Advancement opportunities are available, with many team members progressing to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area.
  • Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Lifting cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Carrying pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds.
  • Carrying trays of pizza dough (approximately 12 pounds per tray).
  • Pushing trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
  • Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
  • Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients.
  • Crouching/Squatting performed occasionally.
  • Reaching continuously (up, down, and forward).
  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
  • Exposure to in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
  • Exposure to sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
  • Exposure to fumes from food odors.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Work in cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
  • Work near hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
  • Carry pizzas and beverages during delivery, performing walking and climbing duties.
  • Drive pizzas within a designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
  • Travel between the store and delivery vehicle, and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
  • Navigate stairs or climb a ladder for tasks such as changing prices on signs or performing maintenance.
  • Perform forward bending at the waist for pizza assembly, stocking ingredients, and at the front counter.
  • Crouch or squat occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Reach continuously (up, down, and forward) for various tasks including operating oven controls, changing sign prices, lifting/lowering objects, scooping ingredients, washing dishes, obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, and answering phones.
  • Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
