About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job, supplemental work, or a job alongside school or other activities. Team members may have opportunities to advance from delivery driver to management or other roles, including franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The position also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements and use hands continuously.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to carry delivery products while walking and climbing; deliveries may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Ability to meet the job’s sensory needs, including telephone communication, near and mid-range vision for in-store work, depth perception, differentiating hot and cold surfaces, and far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
