About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering orders to customers within designated areas, adhering to traffic laws and company standards. This role also involves providing excellent customer service, processing payments, and assisting with in-store duties during non-delivery times. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe delivery vehicle and adhering to food safety and quality control standards.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Have a minimum of the last 2 years licensed driving history in the United States
Must provide documentation of at least 2 years of licensed driving history in the U.S.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last 2 years.
No more than 1 violation and 1 at-fault accident associated within the last 2 years
No more than 2 violations and 1 at-fault accident associated within the last 3 years
No more than 3 violations in the last 3 years
No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years
No distracted driving/inattentive driving violations within the last 3 years
No serious violations allowed in the past 5 years (e.g., Drugs/Alcohol, Leaving the scene, Failing to report an accident, Reckless/careless driving, Vehicular homicide, Hit and run, Speed contest, Eluding police, Making a false police report, Driving while suspended/not licensed, Speeding 30 MPH or faster over the posted speed limit).

Responsibilities

Safely deliver orders to customers within designated areas, adhering to traffic laws and company standards.
Provide excellent customer service, including order accuracy and professional interaction.
Process customer payments and handle cash responsibly.
Assist with in-store duties during non-delivery times, including: Answering phones and taking orders, Preparing food items, Maintaining cleanliness of the store and equipment, Restocking supplies and ingredients.
Perform basic math calculations and use a computer or touch screen to process orders.
Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle.
Adhere to food safety and quality control standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Adapt to varying work conditions, including temperature changes and adverse weather.
