About The Position
Mare Island Brewing Co. is looking for a dedicated individual to join their wholesale team as a delivery driver. This role involves delivering and merchandising beer throughout the Bay Area, starting at their Mare Island facility at 5 am, five days a week (weekdays only). The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and classified as non-exempt with overtime compensation.
Requirements
- 21 years or older
- Ability to lift 165lb kegs
- Clean DMV record a must
- Customer service oriented
- Honest and trustworthy
Nice To Haves
- No CDL required
- Forklift experience a plus
- Knowledge of craft beer a plus
- Great sense of humor always welcomed
Responsibilities
- Starting and finishing at our brewing facility daily
- Safe handling of company vehicles — branded cargo vans and our 4-bay branded beer truck on a Ford F-350 body
- Delivering cans and kegs to businesses throughout the Bay
- Customer interaction at points of delivery
- Trouble shooting beer draught systems at accounts
- Merchandising product in store
