About The Position

Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and also perform general store-team duties. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role requires working with customers and coworkers, handling orders and payments, using store equipment, and completing food-preparation, stocking, inventory, and cleaning tasks. Work may involve outdoor delivery in varying weather, changing temperatures, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped cooler spaces. Drivers must navigate delivery sites that may include private homes, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to carry products while navigating delivery sites.
Near-, mid-range, far, and night vision; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to addresses within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area in storage areas, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Handle monetary transactions and provide correct change.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Navigate delivery routes and sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Remove trash and perform other outside tasks.
