About The Position

Delivery Drivers are responsible for greeting walk-in customers, taking delivery and carryout orders by phone, cleaning, and making deliveries. The role requires friendly, punctual, hardworking team members who can multitask. Drivers must run, jog, or speed-walk to and from their cars on deliveries and navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.

Orientation and training are provided on the job. Training includes making deliveries with the store’s Certified Delivery Trainer. Drivers communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone, and use a touchscreen computer system to process orders.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• A working vehicle.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by phone, with a clear and upbeat speaking voice.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Hardworking, personable, friendly, punctual, dependable, reliable, prompt, responsible, outgoing, energetic, able to multitask, quick to learn, and self-motivated.
