About The Position

Imperial Beverage is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This role involves delivering beer, wine, and spirits to customers, building relationships, and ensuring safe and accurate product delivery. Drivers are home nightly and enjoy a 3-day weekend, working Tuesday-Friday.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Current chauffeur license
• 19 years of age or older
• Must have a reliable personal cell phone with the ability to receive calls and text messages and with a cell phone number available internally
• Customer service skills
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull an average of 50 pounds and move up to 165 pounds
• Ability to perform physical and driving tasks while being exposed to varying weather conditions
• Good driving record
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspection of the delivery vehicle.
• Verify accuracy and proper loading of product on the truck.
• Drive the truck to assigned grocery stores, gas stations, bars, and restaurants.
• Accurately unload product and deliver each case and keg to a specified area.
• Collect payments for product.
• Resolve and report customer issues and requests.
• Safely operate the delivery vehicle according to DOT rules and regulations.
• Return to the warehouse after all deliveries have been made.
• Verify any returns, empty containers, and payments collected.
