About The Position
This role involves collecting payments, ensuring product accuracy and quality, and delivering items safely and promptly. The driver is responsible for vehicle inspections, maintaining company standards for appearance, and promoting products and specials. Cross-training in food preparation, opening/closing procedures, and boxing products is also part of the role. The position requires excellent customer service skills, clear communication, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, energetic, and fun environment. A sense of urgency is important when handling phone orders and assisting carryout customers.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and write clearly
- Comprehension of using a computer based order entry system
Responsibilities
- Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items
- Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery and carry out customers in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure vehicle used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually
- Uphold Dominos standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance
- Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions
- Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout
- Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person
- Ability to speak and write clearly and comprehension of using a computer based order entry system
- Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun
