About The Position
Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to make deliveries in their own vehicles. Drivers earn an hourly wage, tips, and paid mileage reimbursement. Part-time work and flexible schedules are available, and the store is currently looking for drivers who can work closing shifts. Training is provided. Full-time employees become eligible for health benefits after six months. Applicants must meet the driving-history and driving-record requirements detailed in the posting. The position also requires a valid driver's license, a consistent work history, the ability to meet company compliance requirements, and the ability to lift 20 pounds frequently and safely maneuver a vehicle in close quarters and congested traffic.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license; the posting states that drivers without an officially stated license are not accepted.
- Have verifiable driving history meeting the stated age-based requirements: at least two years immediately preceding the MVR evaluation for an 18-year-old, or at least one year for a 19-year-old. A learner's permit period documented by a government authority may count toward driving history.
- Have a consistent work history.
- Meet company compliance requirements concerning MVR, DOT, CSA and/or criminal background checks.
- Be able to lift 20 pounds frequently.
- Meet driving-record requirements: no more than two driving-related violations in the prior two years, no more than three in the prior three years, and no more than one at-fault accident in the prior three years.
- Not have disqualifying violations, including leaving the scene of an accident or hit and run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, or eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
