About The Position
This role involves delivering product by car and then to the customer's door, as well as delivering flyers and door hangers. The position requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle for deliveries, and essential skills in navigation to locate addresses within a designated delivery area. The job also involves navigating various delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and will be required to travel between the store and their vehicle, and from the vehicle to the customer's location. Climbing stairs, potentially five or more flights, may be necessary during product delivery. The role also includes exposure to varying weather conditions and requires far vision and night vision for driving. Daily vehicle inspection for tire tread wear and depth, and maintaining the vehicle in good running condition, are also part of the responsibilities.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product by car and then to door for customer.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties.
- Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
- Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
- Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery of product.
- Drive in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- Visually inspect tires to ensure proper tread wear and tread depth daily.
- Maintain your vehicle in good running condition.
