About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated delivery area and support general store operations. The position offers flexible hours and on-the-job orientation and training. Drivers may have opportunities to advance into management and other roles, including franchise ownership. Team members may operate store equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The role involves working in a store environment with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts, as well as exposure to adverse weather during outside tasks. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and infrequently using stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old and have at least one year of driving history on a regular driver’s license.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must pass a background check and motor vehicle report.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and ability to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and stack deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry supplies, and perform the described standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and occasional climbing tasks.
Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces and meet the role’s vision and hearing needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Use navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate the delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and move deliveries, including lifting and stacking cases of ingredients and supplies.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Make correct monetary change.
