About The Position

Parts Authority LLC. is seeking Delivery Drivers to join their team. This role is crucial for customer relationships and business success. Requirements

  • Current, valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
  • Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
  • Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to handle prolonged sitting.
  • Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
  • Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation/route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
  • Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and drop off automotive parts, adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
  • Ensure orders are properly fulfilled.
  • Foster strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy of charges.
  • Take and follow directions from the dispatcher.
  • Utilize route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages on time.
  • Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Answer customer questions and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Accept payments, prepare reports including invoices, return forms, and reconcile debt and credit.
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify the manager of any issues.
  • Assist with other store/warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety.
  • Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
