Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two - four years’ experience in the field or related area
  • Holds a valid driver's license
  • Holds DOT certification
  • Must be able to pass Background Screening Requirement for Government Contracts
  • Knowledge of roadways in Baltimore/DC metro areas or the ability to read a map
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment for job completion
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions and approaches to problems
  • Ability to listen actively to customer/employee needs
  • Lift up to 60 pounds
  • Work in high elevations
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as standing, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial HVAC/plumbing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides safe, efficient transportation to various job sites and supply house locations.
  • Participates in receiving, unpacking, and storing of materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Packs, crates, and ships products and performs pickups and deliveries.
  • Compiles, reviews, and maintains data from purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents in order to assess supply needs.
  • Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse.
  • Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool room, or other areas.
  • Prepares and maintains records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used, as well as employee logged tools issued to designated locations utilizing ToolWatch.
  • Drives truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver supplies to designated locations.
  • Completes and returns the daily Warehouse Receiving Report to supervisor for receipt of all deliveries made to the warehouse.
  • Coordinates with field superintendents all material returns to vendors to ensure proper credit is issued.
  • Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Responsible for tracking company tools used on job sites.
  • Responsible for tracking all tools and equipment sent out for repair.
  • Assists with on/offloading of deliveries and pickups.
  • Responsible for scheduling maintenance and repairs for all delivery vehicles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
