About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and may also perform general store team-member duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position involves working in a store environment with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Drivers may also work outdoors in varying or adverse weather. The work includes standing, walking, driving, carrying deliveries, and navigating stairs or other challenging terrain. Team members may be scheduled for several deliveries per shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, crouching, climbing, and driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area, including carrying orders from the vehicle to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery routes, addresses, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings.
