About The Position

The main responsibility of a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is to deliver orders to designated locations on time. Punctuality and honesty are required. Delivery Drivers are expected to know how to read a basic road map. Orders must be delivered correctly and on time in a courteous manner. It is also expected that Delivery Drivers ensure delivery vehicles are well-maintained before and after their shift. Delivery Drivers assist in food preparation, taking customer orders, cleaning duties, and rotating food shipments which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. They must also be knowledgeable about product details, services, charges, and other relevant information to provide to customers. While performing duties, team members may work outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust, or toxic chemicals. This job can be physically demanding, requiring repetitive hand use, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching above shoulder level, crouching, stooping, or kneeling.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works, and have been licensed for two or more years.
  • Must have an acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract, which includes no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year.
  • Must be insured and have a satisfactory vehicle.
  • Must be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
  • Willing to learn and be comfortable being cross-trained and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed and work the above listed duties with reasonable accommodation if needed.

  • Anyone with a DUI or speeding ticket over 24 mph will not be considered for the position due to the safety risk for the public we service.

Responsibilities
