Requirements

Valid driver's license (appropriate for vehicle type) with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and route calculations
Ability to lift, carry, and load/unload products safely (up to 50 lbs regularly)
Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving practices
Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible schedules
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Physical capability to perform duties in various weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Experience with GPS navigation and route optimization software
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent
Previous customer-facing experience in a delivery or logistics environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Experience with mobile delivery applications and digital record-keeping
Bilingual capabilities (English and Spanish)
Professional certification in vehicle safety or defensive driving

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver products to customers in assigned routes and territories
Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
Load, unload, and secure products safely, following proper handling procedures
Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special notes
Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with empathy and transparency
Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns
Handle cash and payment transactions accurately, demonstrating strong mathematical skills
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record
Build positive customer relationships through reliable service and professional behavior
Assist with loading and organizing inventory as needed to support team operations
