About The Position

Our Youngstown, OH Hub is currently seeking a Part-time driver to join our team! Must be reliable and have flexibility in your schedule. This role involves Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday route deliveries with variable start times, including in-state and out-of-state driving. A passport is required. BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology, and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of Age
• Valid driver's license
• Valid U.S. Passport Required
• Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
• Background check required.
• Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications
• Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
• Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.
