About The Position

Valley Pizza Inc., a Domino's Pizza Franchise, is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Fayetteville, TN. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $10-$14 per hour, plus cash tips and daily mileage reimbursement. The hiring manager will set start pay based on proof of experience, excellent work history, higher availability, and a clean attendance record. Responsibilities include safely operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading packages, planning delivery routes, providing excellent customer service, collecting signatures and payments, maintaining accurate delivery and mileage records, adhering to traffic laws and company safety policies, reporting issues promptly, performing basic vehicle maintenance checks, handling cash transactions, and assisting with inventory management. Communication with dispatch regarding road conditions and delivery times is also key. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle is expected.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
MUST maintain good driving record duration of employment as delivery driver
Demonstrated ability to drive safely and follow all traffic laws
Reliable personal transportation to and from work
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and mileage calculations
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical stamina to perform deliveries throughout a full shift
Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Adaptable to changing weather conditions and delivery schedules

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
