About The Position
This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas and storage, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position also requires taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility on an approximate daily basis. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to the customer's door, and distributing flyers, door hangers, or other marketing materials. This requires navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area, navigating adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. During deliveries, team members will carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties. Driving company products within a designated delivery area is a key responsibility, with a team member potentially making several deliveries per shift. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and the delivery vehicle, and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location and back. Navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required during product delivery.
Requirements
- Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
