About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment and performs tasks supporting order preparation and delivery. Duties include stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role delivers products and promotional materials to customers within a designated delivery area and requires navigation across varied delivery locations and terrain.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to navigate using a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Deliver products by car and to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
