This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas and storage, preparing food products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also required. The position includes on-the-job training. Essential skills include accurate and quick mathematical abilities, making correct monetary change, strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing, and the motor coordination for rapid and accurate hand movements. The ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen is also necessary. The work environment can involve varying weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 to 90+ degrees with sudden changes, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, and sharp edges with moving mechanical parts. Sensing requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include standing for most tasks, walking short distances, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds from floor to shelves up to 72 inches high, carrying items like pizza sauce (30 lbs) and pizza dough trays (12 lbs each), pushing trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist for assembly and counter work, occasional crouching/squatting for stocking and cleaning, and continuous reaching up, down, and forward. Hand tasks are continuous and require eye-hand coordination, including frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough, manipulating pizza peels and cutters, and pinching for box assembly. Team members must be able to grasp various items. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering product by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle are required. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain in multi-story buildings, private homes, and other sites while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages during walking and climbing, driving within a designated area for multiple deliveries per shift, and walking from the store to the delivery vehicle and to the customer's location. Climbing five or more flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries, driving, and couponing. Sensing requirements for driving include far and night vision.
