About The Position

Domino's Pizza is looking for Delivery Drivers to join their team. This position offers a fun work environment and opportunities for growth within the company, as many team members start as drivers and move up to management or even franchise ownership. The role involves delivering pizzas, assisting in-store with tasks like making pizzas, and interacting with customers. Training is provided for all aspects of the job.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle to use for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, a Team Member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Most tasks are performed from a standing position.

• Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and cases of ingredients and supplies.
• Carrying large cans (3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs each).
• Pushing to move trays on dollies.
• Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Forward bending at the waist.
• Crouching/Squatting performed occasionally.
• Reaching performed continuously; up, down and forward.
• Eye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous during the day.
• Frequently activities require use of one or both hands.
• Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Assist in-store with making pizza and other tasks.
• Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
