About The Position
This role involves delivering products to customers, including carrying items to their doors and distributing promotional materials. The position requires strong communication and basic math skills, the ability to use a computer for order processing, and proficiency in operating various equipment. Responsibilities also include stocking ingredients, preparing products, cleaning the facility and equipment, and navigating to various delivery locations, including multi-story buildings, while carrying product. Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
- Must be able to make correct change.
- Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Must be able to operate all equipment.
- Must have navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Must have a valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product by car and then to the door of customer.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Clean facility and equipment daily.
