About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store work, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino’s provides training for delivery and in-store tasks. The position offers opportunities to develop within the company, including potential advancement from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
Verbal communication skills for communicating with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, and to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, squatting, and continuous reaching and hand use.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, perceive depth, and differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
