About The Position

US Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team. This role involves safely driving trucks to customers, meeting delivery schedules, and unloading products. The position also includes stocking and rotating perishable products, verifying deliveries, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum of six (6) months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three (3) months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
Must be able to read and communicate in the English language, including understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports and records.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.

Responsibilities

Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times.
Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place products in designated customer storage areas.
Date, stock, and rotate perishable products upon delivery in designated customer storage locations.
Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures.
Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the customer experience.
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
