About The Position
The Delivery Driver performs general restaurant duties, including operating equipment; stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone and internet orders; counting inventory; completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. The role requires communicating with customers and coworkers by phone and in person, and safely driving the employee’s own vehicle to deliver products.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers over the phone and in person.
- Ability to safely drive one's own vehicle and navigate roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change.
