About The Position

Domino’s is hiring qualified delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated area. The role may suit someone seeking a main job, supplemental work, or a flexible schedule, and the company notes opportunities to grow into management or other roles. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors, may distribute flyers and door hangers, and may make several deliveries per shift. The position also includes general store team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Work involves indoor and outdoor tasks and exposure to varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain and may need to climb five or more flights of stairs while carrying products.
Must be able to perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and hand/eye tasks.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Must have the vision and sensing abilities described for the work, including near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other sites, while carrying products.
Travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
