About The Position

The Delivery Driver role offers flexible hours and may suit someone seeking part-time work, full-time employment, or a second job. Drivers also perform in-store duties, including taking and processing customer orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, cleaning, distributing marketing materials, and communicating with customers and team members. The position involves making deliveries within the designated delivery area and meeting Domino’s quality, safety, and image standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, and drive in adverse weather conditions such as rain, sleet, snow, high winds, and hail.
• Must have a positive and helpful attitude and conform to Domino’s image and uniform standards.
• Must be able to work alone and with others.
• Must be willing to meet high quality-control standards in fast-paced circumstances.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard and touch screen.
• Must have strong hand-eye coordination and be able to follow instructions and complete tasks within a specified period.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk briskly or run when safe, occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and rarely lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks involving crouching, bending, reaching, and infrequent ladder climbing.
• Must be able to navigate five or more flights of stairs during some deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders in-store and by phone.
• Prepare products.
• Stock ingredients in storage areas, the production area, and the walk-in cooler.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Distribute marketing materials.
• Communicate positively with customers and fellow team members.
• Complete additional tasks as requested by the management team.
• Deliver products within the designated delivery area.
• Navigate to customer locations, including adverse terrain and buildings with multiple stories.
