About The Position
The Delivery Driver role is responsible for greeting walk-in customers, taking delivery and carryout orders over the phone, cleaning, and making deliveries. This role requires individuals to be hard-working, personable, friendly, punctual, and able to multitask. Drivers must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, a good driving record, and a reliable vehicle. The job involves running/jogging/speed walking to and from vehicles on all deliveries. Training is provided on the job, including on-road training with a Certified Delivery Trainer. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, processing orders via phone and a touch screen computer system, and maintaining a clear, upbeat speaking voice. Essential functions include accurate basic math skills for transactions, effective verbal and written communication, good hand-eye coordination for order processing, map reading and navigation skills to locate addresses within the delivery area, and the ability to navigate various delivery sites, including multi-story buildings, while carrying product.
Requirements

- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- At least 18 years old
