About The Position
This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the facility. Training will be provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and over the phone. Essential functions include accurate and quick mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and utilizing verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. Motor coordination for rapid and accurate hand/finger movements, and the ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touchscreen are also necessary.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add/subtract/multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling trays on dollies, climbing, stopping/bending at the waist for 30-45 seconds repeatedly, crouching/squatting, reaching up/down/forward, performing hand tasks using hand-eye coordination, and utilize various tools, equipment, and work aids.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
