About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up and dropping off business-essential items to and from job sites, service and install personnel, and the warehouse. The driver must maintain constant contact with the Warehouse Manager and follow all rules and guidelines in the employee handbook. This role may also involve secondary duties related to uniforms and parts management.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to perform job in a neat, professional manner.
Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with customers and employees.
Good communication skills.
Must be able to work with step ladders and extension ladders.
Not afraid of heights.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds above your waist.
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass insurance requirements.
Must be able to pull and back up a trailer.

Nice To Haves

Trade school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Pick up and drop off business-essential items to and from job sites, service and install personnel, and warehouse.
Keep in constant contact with Warehouse Manager.
Be courteous, neat, clean, and in uniform on the job.
Maintain and protect company-assigned tools, and report any deficiencies.
Keep in contact with CSR’s regarding pick up’s of money, paperwork, parts, and warranties.
Assist in truck inventory counts.
Be responsible for vehicle organization & appearance, both inside and out on a weekly basis.
Report any vehicle mechanical problems to the vehicle maintenance coordinator.
Report to the Warehouse Manager when unable to work, giving ample notice.
Be available for after-hours service as deemed necessary by the Warehouse Manager.
Be available to work out of town if needed with ample notice, potentially including overnight stays.
Follow all rules and guidelines listed in the employee handbook.
Perform any other duties the Warehouse Manager deems necessary.
Responsible for any items relating to uniforms, ordering, billing, e-orders and repairs.
Return warranty parts for credit, return any unused parts.
Make deliveries to installation, new construction, and service jobs as needed.
