About The Position
This position involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, and preparing products. The role includes receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also required. The job demands the ability to accurately and quickly perform basic arithmetic, make correct monetary change, and utilize verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. Motor coordination for precise movements, data entry via computer keyboard or touchscreen, and the ability to comprehend and provide written instructions are essential. Effective verbal communication with customers and co-workers for order processing, both in person and over the phone, is necessary. Responsibilities also include delivering products by car to the customer's door, distributing flyers and door hangers, and utilizing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. The role requires navigating various terrains, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
