About The Position

McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and professional Delivery Driver to join our team in TILLSONBURG. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of propane and petroleum products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk products to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area Inventory control of bulk products on truck Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation Providing exceptional customer service Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customers’ needs Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and delivered from the truck This role is a DZ Fuel / Propane Driver position with a rotating shift: SHIFT: 12-hour shift duration, commencing at 6 AM and concluding at 6 PM (including two 30-minute meal breaks, 1 paid and 1 unpaid) Sunday hours 6 AM to 2:30 PM SCHEDULE: Rotational Shift Pattern (2-3-2), inclusive of weekends. Scheduled 14 days each 28-day cycle. Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year driving experience with a valid DZ license
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts
  • The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk products to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
  • Inventory control of bulk products on truck
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customers’ needs
  • Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and delivered from the truck
