About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team at our Kirkwood, United States location (485 S Kirkwood Rd). Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Physical capability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption
• Load, unload, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights to designated locations
• Obtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions as required
• Maintain accurate delivery records and update tracking information in real-time
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance issues
• Provide professional and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery concerns
• Navigate using GPS and mapping systems to locate delivery addresses accurately
• Adhere to strict time management protocols to meet daily delivery targets
• Report any vehicle damage, accidents, or safety hazards to management immediately
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
