About The Position
The Honest Farmer, a division of Westbow Group, is a Chilliwack- based regenerative goods grocery delivery service. We work with small-batch farmers to deliver high-quality food that supports our customers, livestock, and restores the environment. As an online subscription service, we deliver to customers throughout Chilliwack and Vancouver on a weekly basis. Our goal is to provide grocery boxes in a timely, accurate manner to support our farmers and normalize regenerative farming. Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Willingness and ability to work outside for periods year-round.
- Detail-oriented.
- Communication and providing excellent customer service.
- Remaining adaptable and flexible.
- Working well alone and within a team.
- Staying positive, energetic, and reliable.
- Strong ability to read maps & follow directions.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with delivery vans is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Delivering grocery baskets to customers throughout Vancouver and assuring product is delivered as expected, with no items missing, to the correct customer every time.
- Calmly navigating deliveries throughout Vancouver to residential and urban areas.
- Loading grocery baskets into the van strategically to simplify the delivery route, while ensuring baskets are safe and secure.
- Greeting our customers with a smile as you run into them on deliveries.
- Utilizing our Shopify app after each delivery so our customers have real-time updates.
- Responding to calls and texts on The Honest Farmer phone pertaining to your current delivery route.
- Loading and driving deliveries.
- Picking up returnables.
- Ensuring all deliveries are updated in our delivery app as you go.
