About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for collecting payments, ensuring product accuracy and quality, and delivering items safely and promptly. This role also involves upholding company standards, promoting products and specials, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the driver will receive cross-training in various store operations, including food preparation, opening/closing procedures, and boxing products. A sense of urgency and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.

Requirements

• Ability to speak and write clearly.
• Comprehension of using a computer-based order entry system.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Reliable vehicle with current insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items.
• Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery and carry out customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure vehicle used for delivery passes inspection, both mechanically and visually.
• Uphold company standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance.
• Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
• Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operating the pizza oven, and properly boxing products for delivery or carryout.
• Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers.
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person.
• Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
