About The Position
This position involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, and preparing products. The role also includes receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is required. The job demands the ability to perform accurate and quick calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), make correct monetary change, and possess strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. Motor coordination for precise, rapid hand and finger movements is essential, as is the ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touchscreen. The driver must be able to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Key responsibilities include delivering products by car to the customer's door and distributing flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area are crucial. The driver must be able to navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
