About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders via phone and in person. The position requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills for order processing, and computer/touch screen order entry. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, occasional climbing of stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous hand tasks including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough. Tools and equipment used include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. A key part of the job is delivering products to customers via car, which includes delivering flyers and marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area. Delivery personnel must navigate various sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. The working conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and require far vision and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
