About The Position

This is a seasonal full-time position where the driver will be responsible for loading food, supplies, or other products and delivering them to various locations in an area. The role involves ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, unloading products at delivery sites, collecting empty containers and rejected merchandise, and returning unused items. The driver must also follow sanitation and safety guidelines, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and perform pre and post-trip inspections.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and good driving record is required
• Must possess a valid Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the province in which you are applying where required by law
• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Physical ability to carry out duties of the position

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations
• Ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required to properly service all scheduled deliveries prior to beginning each day’s route
• Unload requested products at delivery site
• Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
• Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned
