About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up orders from warehouses, ensuring their condition and completeness, and delivering them to customers along planned routes. You will also be responsible for maintaining the delivery vehicle, communicating professionally with customers, and adhering to all traffic laws. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safe driving practices.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry heavy items
Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines
Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge

Responsibilities

Picking up orders from warehouses and verifying that they are in good condition and complete
Planning optimal routes using GPS or other navigation tools
Delivering orders to customers on assigned routes
Maintaining an organized travel schedule and ensuring that deliveries are made on time
Inspecting the delivery vehicle daily and reporting any malfunctions or damages
Cleaning interior and exterior of delivery van
Assisting with loading and unloading items from the vehicle
Communicating with customers in a professional manner and handling complaints or concerns
Documenting each delivery by collecting signatures or confirmations on sales orders
Adhering to traffic laws and always practicing safe driving
Ensuring warehouse and office are organized and clean
