About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role includes delivering orders within a designated area and performing general team-member duties in the store. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers opportunities for career advancement, including paths into customer service, management, corporate operations, or franchise ownership. Pay is $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have held a driver’s license for at least 365 days.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries and be listed as an insured driver on its insurance policy.
• Must have customer service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, occasional stair or ladder navigation, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include varying or adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
