About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for collecting payments, ensuring product accuracy and quality, and delivering items safely and in a timely manner. This role also involves promoting products, receiving cross-training in various store operations, and providing excellent customer service. The driver will use a personal vehicle for deliveries and must maintain a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and proof of insurance.

Requirements

Ability to read a map and figure out directions quickly
Ability to speak and write clearly and comprehension of using a computer based order entry system
Have a valid driver's license with safe driving record that meets company standards
Proof of liability insurance for yourself and vehicle
Navigational skills to read map and locate addresses for delivery

Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout

Responsibilities

Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items
Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery and carry out customers in a safe and timely manner
Ensure vehicle used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually
Uphold Dominos standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance
Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions
Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout
Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers
Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person
Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun
Deliver product, deliver flyers and door hangers via a personal vehicle.
