About The Position
Colonial Electric Supply is hiring an experienced Truck Driver for a stable driving career with great pay, steady local routes, and weekends completely free. This full-time, local route delivery position offers an early start time (4:00 AM) with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, allowing drivers to be home daily by the afternoon. The role involves inspecting and loading the truck, driving dedicated local routes to deliver electrical components to commercial job sites and company branches, safely unloading materials, and providing friendly, professional customer service. Drivers will also operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of proven experience driving a 26ft box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR background screening required).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical/certification and meet OSHA requirements.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs during deliveries.
- High School Diploma or GED.
