About The Position

ALCIVIA is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver with a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License to join our dedicated team. Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Clean driving record.
Professional appearance and conduct representing the cooperative.
Basic computer and technology proficiency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to task completion.
Ability to assess situations and recommend effective solutions.

Previous delivery experience with Class A or B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the daily, on-time delivery of bulk and bagged feed products to members and customers in the local area.
Operate Class A or Class B CDL trucks for bulk deliveries, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.
Conduct deliveries of bagged feed using Class B CDL trucks equipped with appropriate loading and unloading equipment, such as forklifts or piggyback systems.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Assist with loading and unloading feed products, utilizing company equipment as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure operational reliability.
Ensure trailer compartments are clean prior to loading new product, which may require climbing atop the truck using fall protection equipment.
Support feed mill operations and cross-divisional collaboration as needed.
Assist in other areas of the business based on operational needs.
